This time round, we're kickin-ass with Elam McKnight, the Burnside's, and Jesse Roper. Elam McNight is serving up some sizzlen hill country blues, Trenton Tennessee style, he along with Bob Bogdal are comming out with a new disc this May called "Zombie Nation". Jesse Roper is the kid next door, touring across Canada promoting his disc "The Roper Show", delivering a raw live show in a town near you. Checks these boys out on Facebook. A huge Hello to our new friends in Trenton TN! And "well, well, well" the Burnsides, they're are always at home here. Nuff said...toon in !!

It's minus alot outside, but "Woodstomp" from the North Mississippi Hill Country is heatn' up another cold Canadian winter, in this special edition of the show. Keep spreadin' the love of the the blues !!

...........From our Woods to your Woods, this week we're Spreadin' the Word of the Hill Country, by featuring my good friends from, the kick ass hill country band, Woodstomp. A meeting by chance at a hill country juke, a couple sips of hill country hospitality, and a few lyrics from their single Wood Stomp,  not only created the main theme of our show, spreadin the gospel, but also inspired its name.... Plus they let me play guitar....In our Raw Blues Rare Blues segment we hand it over to the Black River Bluesman aka j u k k a. Black River Bluesman and the Croaking Lizard play their Blues in the deep woods and frozen swamps of the muddy Black River Delta way up North in cold Finland. Their unrefined, electric and hypnotic Blues have been compared to the rough sounds of the Mississippi Hill Country artists. Whatever the influences may be, they play their animal Blues with no compromises - just the way they feel.

So don't go away, stick and stay !
